A lone regular Volvo bus operating services to Davangere, Mysore, Chitradurga now... Remember
going in this bus to Pune in 2006. Bus has aged well after 6 years and has at least 500,000 kms on it.
Could not talk with the driver, the conductor did not have the keys to check, but his best estimate....

A pair of corona sleepers waiting to go to Kundapura for their night departure schedule...

The Mumbai Airavat departs right on time.. and is FULL - good for a Thursday departure from Bangalore. No wonder KSRTC is profitable...

Traffic cops coming by to use the facilities - I presume since they are parked right near the toilets..

Seems deserted to me, no rush now that some other bus stands are also started to offset the rush due to the Namma Metro work in Majestic.

A bunch of KSRTC buses readying to go to destinations in Northern Karnataka.

Shivneri Buses - looks like they were running every 15 mins at 5pm in the evening - and were full.

The Shivneri bus stand at Swargate. They all drive in towards the platform and then reverse once full and are getting on their way. Unlike the others that always seem to reverse their way in.

Another bus coming out of the Depot after refueling and cleaning...

None of the buses I saw that day were Multi-Axle Volvos, and they all seemed old.  I was mighty happy when the spanking new Airavat KSRTC Multi-Axle Volvo rolled in... :-)

prevent them from coming in.... :-)
