A bunch of KSRTC buses readying to go to destinations in Northern Karnataka.
Shivneri Buses - looks like they were running every 15 mins at 5pm in the evening - and were full.
The Shivneri bus stand at Swargate. They all drive in towards the platform and then reverse once full and are getting on their way. Unlike the others that always seem to reverse their way in.
Another bus coming out of the Depot after refueling and cleaning...
Some enterprising hawkers playing with their lives running in front of the bus...
None of the buses I saw that day were Multi-Axle Volvos, and they all seemed old. I was mighty happy when the spanking new Airavat KSRTC Multi-Axle Volvo rolled in... :-)
Assorted scenes around the bus - stand, 2 wheelers should not be allowed in, but there is no one to
prevent them from coming in.... :-)
